At FOROSECARE, product safety is an important part of how we care for our customers. As a beauty product curator, we aim to offer products that are thoughtfully selected, clearly presented, and suitable for responsible everyday use.
Because every person’s skin, routine, environment, health circumstances, and sensitivity level may be different, customers should review all product information carefully and use each product only as directed.
Before use: Review the packaging, ingredient list, warnings, and directions.
For new products: Consider performing a patch test before full application.
If a reaction occurs: Stop use immediately and seek appropriate medical advice when necessary.
1. Our Approach to Beauty Safety
FOROSECARE may offer different categories of beauty and personal care products, including makeup, setting products, skincare-related beauty products, beauty tools, and other cosmetic items.
We aim to provide clear information about each product’s intended use, directions, ingredients, storage recommendations, and relevant safety considerations whenever that information is available.
Beauty is personal. A product that performs well for one person may not be suitable for another. Product selection should be based on your individual needs, skin condition, routine, sensitivities, and comfort level.
2. Read Product Information Before Use
Before using any product purchased from FOROSECARE, review the product page, packaging, ingredient list, warning statements, directions, expiration information, and storage instructions.
Product packaging should be treated as the final reference for ingredients, directions, warnings, and storage information because formulas, packaging, or labeling may be updated over time.
3. Patch Testing
We recommend considering a patch test before using a new beauty or cosmetic product, particularly if you have sensitive skin, known allergies, a history of reactions, or are trying that type of product for the first time.
Unless different instructions are provided on the product packaging, a basic patch test may involve:
- Applying a small amount of product to a discreet area, such as the inner arm or behind the ear.
- Keeping the area clean and avoiding additional products on the test area.
- Observing the area for approximately 24 hours for redness, itching, burning, swelling, rash, or discomfort.
A patch test cannot guarantee that a reaction will not occur during later or broader use. Do not continue using the product if irritation or discomfort develops.
4. General Product Use
Use every product only for its intended purpose and according to the instructions provided. Unless the packaging specifically states otherwise:
- Do not apply products to broken, irritated, infected, or severely inflamed skin.
- Avoid direct contact with the eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.
- Do not swallow or ingest cosmetic products.
- Do not inhale sprays, powders, or cosmetic mists.
- Do not use more product or apply it more frequently than directed.
- Do not mix products in ways not recommended by their directions.
- Do not use products with damaged, opened, leaking, or tampered packaging.
- Do not share products that directly contact the eyes, lips, skin, or bodily fluids.
5. Spray and Mist Products
When using a setting spray, facial mist, or another spray product:
- Use the product in a well-ventilated area.
- Close your eyes and mouth before application.
- Hold the product at the distance recommended on the packaging.
- Spray evenly and avoid inhaling the mist.
- Keep the product away from flames, heat, and ignition sources when indicated.
Do not spray directly into the eyes. If the product enters the eyes, rinse carefully with clean water and seek medical advice if irritation continues.
6. Eye, Lip, and Face Products
Products used near the eyes, lips, or other sensitive facial areas should be applied with additional care. Follow the product directions and avoid applying products outside their intended area of use.
Do not use eye products while you have an eye infection, unexplained irritation, or injury around the eye area. Avoid sharing eye and lip products with other people.
Stop using the product if you experience unusual dryness, redness, swelling, burning, blurred vision, persistent watering, or discomfort.
7. Skincare-Related Beauty Products
Some skincare-related beauty products may contain active ingredients, botanical extracts, fragrance, exfoliating ingredients, or other components that may not be suitable for every skin type.
Review the ingredient list and product directions before combining multiple active or exfoliating products in the same routine.
If you use prescription skincare, have recently received a cosmetic procedure, have an active skin condition, or are under the care of a healthcare professional, consult an appropriate physician or dermatologist before introducing a new product.
8. Allergies and Ingredient Sensitivities
Customers with known allergies or sensitivities should carefully review the complete ingredient list before use.
The absence of a known reaction to one product does not guarantee that another product containing similar ingredients will be suitable. Formulas may differ in ingredient concentration, combination, fragrance, preservatives, or other components.
9. Stop Use If a Reaction Occurs
Stop using a product immediately if you experience:
- Redness, itching, burning, or persistent stinging
- Rash, hives, swelling, or blistering
- Eye pain, vision changes, or persistent eye irritation
- Breathing difficulty, throat discomfort, or facial swelling
- Any other unusual, severe, or worsening reaction
Seek appropriate medical advice if symptoms persist or worsen. Severe breathing difficulty, significant facial or throat swelling, faintness, or another serious reaction may require urgent medical attention.
10. Pregnancy, Nursing, and Medical Considerations
If you are pregnant, nursing, highly sensitive, allergic to specific ingredients, undergoing medical or cosmetic treatment, taking prescription medication, or managing a skin or health condition, review the ingredient list carefully and consult a qualified healthcare professional before use when appropriate.
11. Storage and Handling
Proper storage can help maintain product quality and reduce contamination risks:
- Store products according to the instructions on the packaging.
- Keep products in a cool, dry place unless otherwise directed.
- Protect products from direct sunlight, extreme heat, and freezing temperatures.
- Keep lids, caps, pumps, and applicators clean and securely closed.
- Avoid introducing water, dirt, or other substances into the container.
- Do not transfer products into unclean or unidentified containers.
- Keep beauty products away from open flames when indicated.
12. Expiration and Product Condition
Do not use a product if:
- It has passed its expiration date or recommended period after opening.
- Its color, texture, scent, or consistency has changed unexpectedly.
- The container is swollen, leaking, cracked, damaged, or appears contaminated.
- The safety seal is missing or appears to have been altered.
- The product has been stored under unsuitable conditions.
Discontinue use and contact FOROSECARE if a newly received product appears unusual, damaged, contaminated, or inconsistent with its description.
13. External Use Only
Unless the product packaging clearly states otherwise, FOROSECARE beauty and cosmetic products are intended for external use only. Products should not be swallowed, ingested, or used internally.
14. Children and Pets
Keep all beauty products, tools, packaging, small components, and applicators out of reach of children and pets.
Products intended for adults should not be used by children unless the packaging specifically states that the product is suitable and use is supervised by a responsible adult.
15. Product Recommendations and Information
Product descriptions, ingredient explanations, beauty content, and recommendations provided by FOROSECARE are intended for general shopping and informational purposes.
